TWO STUDENTS FROM THE FACULTY OF SHARIA AND LAW WIN CHAMPIONSHIP IN TAPAK SUCI 2025 FOR SOUTH SUMATRA PROVINCE

FSH-UIN — In a remarkable non-academic achievement, students from the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Raden Fatah State Islamic University in Palembang excelled once again. Two students secured first place in the Regional Championship (Kejurda) II for South Sumatra Province in 2025, organized by the Regional Leadership of 240 Ogan Ilir.

The championship took place at Campus D of Ponpes Al Itifaqiyah, Ogan Ilir, from January 31 to February 2, 2025. M. Andrimahendra Topan, a student in the Sharia Economic Law Study Program, won 1st place in Class A for Adult Men, while Muhammad Agam Afrizal, a student in the Islamic Family Law Study Program, claimed 1st place in Class B for Adult Men.

The Regional Championship II for Tapak Suci in South Sumatra Province in 2025 attracted participants from nine regencies and cities, featuring 24 contingents and a total of 496 competitors, including students from Africa.

Both M. Andrimahendra and Muhammad Agam Afrizal expressed their pride in their achievements and hope to further represent the Faculty of Sharia and Law proudly in future competitions.

Dr. Muhamad Harun, M. Ag, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Raden Fatah State Islamic University, praised the accomplishments of the two students. He expressed his hope that they will continue to achieve remarkable successes in the future and serve as inspiration for their fellow students.
