The 2024 Youth Pledge Day Commemoration Ceremony was a historic moment for Farah Muthi’ah Sumitha, a student of the Islamic Criminal Law Study Program, Faculty of Sharia and Law, UIN Raden. Farah received an award as an Outstanding Youth of Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, which took place at the Regent’s Office on Monday, October 28, 2024.
The 2024 Youth Achievement Selection Program is carried out by the Youth and Sports Agency (DISPORA) of Ogan Ilir Regency. This program is a national program of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (KEMENPORA RI) to recruit outstanding young men and women throughout Indonesia. With this achievement, Farah will become an ambassador in the youth programs of the Ogan Ilir Regency Youth and Sports Agency.
Dr. H. Muhamad Harun, M. Ag, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang on behalf of the entire academic community expressed his pride and appreciation for Farah’s achievements. The Dean prayed for ease and success for Farah in carrying out her duties as an Outstanding Youth of Ogan Ilir Regency and at the same time hoped that this achievement would be a motivation for other students to achieve achievements in various fields.
