FSH-UIN — A proud achievement was achieved by a student of the Islamic Criminal Law Study Programme, Faculty of Sharia and Law, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang named Jessika Novalia Sari. In the Pencak Silat competition for the Sriwijaya University Rector Cup (Rector Cup) 2024, Jessika won the third place in Pencak Silat Tanding Class B Female which took place on 24 October-02 November 2024 at the Sriwijaya University Campus Bukit Kecil Palembang.
The Rector Cup of Sriwijaya University at the national level in 2024 was held in the framework of the 64th Anniversary of Sriwijaya University with the theme ‘Uphold Sportsmanship to Build Youth Towards Golden Indonesia in 2045’. Branches of competition include Futsal, Petanque, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Pencak Silat, and E-Sport (Mobile Legend) with participants from various universities in Indonesia, namely Sriwijaya University, Jakarta State University, UIN Raden Fatah, Jambi University, Bengkulu University, Telkom University Bandung, Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung University, Bina Bangsa University Banten and others.
The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law UIN Raden Fatah Palembang on behalf of the entire academic community feels proud and appreciates the achievements made by Jessika. The Dean hopes that Jessika will continue to excel and become a motivation for other students to make achievements in various fields.
