The 2024 District and City Level Quran Competition in South Sumatra Province became a proud achievement for several students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. Students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law participated in competitions in various branches held by the City District government at the 2024 Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran.

Students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law who made achievements in the Tilawatil Quran Competition were Irda Risdayanti, Muhammad Naufal Fatila, Wahyu Agustaria, Muhammad Rizki, Pemas Ramadhani and Miftahul Azhari.

Irda Risdayanti won first place in the Hifdzil Quran 20 Juz Branch of Muara Enim Regency, Muhammad Naufal Fatila won first place in the Khottil Quran Male Branch of Banyuasin Regency, Wahyu Agustaria won third place in the 20 Juz Female Tahfidz Group of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, Muhammad Rizki won first place in English Interpretation of Ogan Ilir Regency, Pemas Ramadhani won second place in the Hifdzil Quran 10 Juz Branch of Ogan Ilir Regency and Miftahul Azhari won first place in the Qiroat Murattal Quran Branch of Palembang City.

For information, the Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran event in various regencies and cities in South Sumatra Province will be held at the end of February 2024. The winners will then represent each regency and city in the 2024 XXX South Sumatra Province Tilawatil Quran Competition, which will take place in Banyuasin Regency on 1-11 May 2024.

The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, Dr Muhamad Harun, representing the entire academic community, expressed his pride and appreciation for the students’ achievements. Hopefully, they will achieve more in the future and become a motivation for other students.
