FSH-UIN — A short film entitled Nyali Or Nyawa by students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law of Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang became the first winner in the Expo Sriwijaya Safety Riding Festival 2024. The winner was announced at Atrium M1 PTC Mall Palembang City on Sunday, 15 December 2024.
Expo Sriwijaya Safety Riding Festival 2024 was organised with the Faculty of Public Health, Sriwijaya University (FKM Unsri) and Astra Honda Motor Foundation (AHM). This activity was a safety riding campaign medium for the younger generation. In this event, education was delivered by the Safety Riding Agent team, live music performances, the inauguration of the Safety Riding Agent and the announcement of the winner of the Short Movie Contest.
The Safety Riding-themed short film competition attracted the most interest and enthusiasm from the participants. Nyali Or Nyawa, directed and acted by students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law of Raden Fatah State Islamic University, namely Fadhil Habibi, Gulung Utama Putra, Jhodico Aldino, Saddam Husein, Muhammad Ihsan, Wahyu Alrico, Bagus Satria, and Sabrina Putri, was crowned the first-place winner in the competition.
The winners of the Safety Riding Short Movie Contest 2024 for the Student School Category are Dekawa “Ngeluyur” (SMAN Tugumulyo), Athena “Mimpi” (SMA Methodist 2 Palembang), Safety Riding Lab Nabula “Sengsara” (SMKN 1 Bulukumba). For the Student University Category, yaitu Aodra “Nyali atau Nyawa” (Raden Fatah State Islamic University), Safety Buddies “Safety Riding-Jangan Tengil” (Sriwijaya University)), Golden Four “Keselamatan Dalam Pertemanan” (Sriwijaya University)). While for the General Category are Berejo “Yang Safety-Safety Aja Kalau Berkendara” (Palembang), Tumbas Sinten “Tiga Dan Satu Teguran” (Surabaya) and Nifita “Three Paths, One Realization” (Indralaya).
The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law of Raden Fatah State Islamic University, Dr Muhamad Harun, M. Ag, welcomed the students’ achievements. The Dean hopes these achievements will continue to be recognised and motivate others to excel in various fields.
