FSH-UIN — Ilham, a student of the Islamic Family Law Study Program of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, was officially inaugurated as President of the Student Council (DEMA) of Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang in 2025. The inauguration was carried out directly by the Acting Rector of UIN Raden Fatah, Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Adil, MA, at the 4th Floor Auditorium of the Rectorate Building, Jakabaring Campus on Monday, February 10, 2025.
In addition to the Student Council (DEMA), at the same time also inaugurated the administrators of other Intra Campus Student Organizations (OMIK), namely the Student Senate (SEMA) and the administrators of the Special Student Activity Unit (UKMK) in UIN Raden Fatah Palembang.
In his speech, Muhammad Adil congratulated the inaugurated OMIK administrators. He gave appreciation to the Student Election Commission (KPUM) for organizing a conducive election process for the students of UIN Raden Fatah. Adil said that this position is a mandate for all students of UIN Raden Fatah and reminded that it can be fulfilled optimally for the progress of UIN Raden Fatah.
As the newly appointed Student President, Ilham expressed his gratitude for the trust given and invited all students to work together to advance UIN Raden Fatah.
The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Dr. Muhamad Harun, M. Ag appreciated the inauguration of Ilham as Student President of UIN Raden Fatah. This shows that students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law can contribute to the dynamics of UIN Raden Fatah students. Hopefully Ilham will successfully carry out the mandate.
