FSH-UIN — Lola Arlinza Yuanda, a student of the Islamic Family Law Study Programme at the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, has successfully passed the selection of the 2024 Indonesia Youth Excursion Network (IYEN) Programme. Lola fulfilled various requirements for participation applicants, including administrative, academic, and other requirements.

The Indonesia Youth Excursion Network (IYEN) is an international youth program in Malaysia. It is precisely for young people who want to broaden their horizons with study abroad experiences. IYEN program participants will be able to understand the culture, history, and life in other countries.

In addition to gaining positive experiences as above, this program’s participants can expand their networks nationally and internationally. Activities during the IYEN program include conferences, student exchanges, and creativity camps.

The 2024 IYEN program will be held in Malaysia from 25 to 28 June 2024. During the program, participants will be invited to visit historical places, educational institutions, and popular places in Kuala Lumpur. To improve leadership and teamwork skills, participants will also participate in training activities, discussions, and workshops facilitated by experts or young leaders.

Lola expressed her gratitude to the entire academic community, especially the Rector of UIN Raden Fatah and the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, for the opportunity and institutional support she received to participate in this international youth activity.

The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Dr Muhamad Harun, M. Ag, is very grateful and appreciative of Lola Arlinza Yuanda’s achievements. The Dean hopes that Lola can participate optimally in the activity and that this achievement will motivate others.
