FSH-UIN — Lola Yuanda Arlinza, a 7th-semester student of the Islamic Family Law Study Programme at the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, made a proud achievement. Participating in the Indonesia Youth Excursion Network (IYEN) Program held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 25 to 28 June 2024, Lola delivered a presentation on the theme EDUJOBS and won 2nd Best Presenter IYEN 2024.
The Indonesia Youth Excursion Network (IYEN) is an international youth program specifically for young people who want to broaden their horizons with study abroad experiences. Activities during the IYEN program include conferences, student exchanges, and creativity camps.
During the International Youth Excursion Network Chapter Inspiration Youth in Diversity, Lola presented an education project entitled ‘EDUJOBS.’ According to Lola, this project was formulated and built to address the need for integrated and comprehensive career information and guidance in higher education. EDUJOBS aims to equip students and graduates to compete in the global workforce.
Lola expressed her gratitude to the Rector of UIN Raden Fatah, the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, the entire academic community, and various parties for the opportunity to participate in this international youth activity and achieve these achievements.
Dr Muhamad Harun, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, expressed his appreciation and pride in Lola’s achievement. Dr Harun hopes this international-scale achievement will motivate Lola to achieve more for herself and other students.
